Leadership transition positions SkyMirr to accelerate commercial growth while advancing antenna-first wireless innovation.

MELBOURNE, FL — November 2, 2026 — SkyMirr, a pioneer in antenna-first wireless connectivity solutions powered by patented antenna technology, today announced the appointment of David Carrier as Chief Executive Officer. Co-Founder and longtime CEO Eric (Youngmin) Jo will transition to the role of Chief Technology Officer.

The leadership transition positions SkyMirr for its next phase of commercial growth, pairing a strong focus on market expansion with continued technology development and innovation.

As CEO, Carrier will lead SkyMirr’s growth strategyand commercialization efforts. He brings extensive experience in business leadership, manufacturing, and business development.

“SkyMirr has built a strong foundation in wireless technology and innovation. Our priority now is to translate that differentiation into broader market adoption, stronger partnerships, and sustainable growth. I also believe we are entering an important period in the evolution of global connectivity. The convergence of high-bandwidth terrestrial networks and increasingly capable, highly reliable non-terrestrial systems creates an opportunity for SkyMirr to serve as an intelligent middleware layer, helping bridge these technologies and deliver seamless, resilient connectivity across a multitude of network environments.

“Equally important is our position as a U.S.-headquartered technology company. Maintaining our engineering, innovation, and strategic leadership here in the United States is an opportunity to contribute to America’s global technology advantage while developing solutions for an increasingly connected world. I look forward to working with Eric and the entire team to realize that opportunity,” said Carrier.

As CTO, Jo will lead technology strategy and engineering innovation, advancing SkyMirr’s MuLCAT® (Multi-Layer Coupling Controlled Antenna Technology) based solutions, AI-driven antenna design capabilities, and next-generation connectivity products. Having guided SkyMirr since its early years, he remains central to the technology that differentiates the company.
